ABOUT OF PRODEFOPH
We are a non-profit organisation based and recognised as a legal entity in the Republic of Honduras. Since our founding in 2005, we have been committed to improving the well-being and life quality of our neglected populations and those at social risk.
OUR OBJECTIVES
- Identify projects and programmes that properly fit the needs of the recipient communities through a comprehensive approach which comprises: education, housing, gender equality, health, environment and natural resources.
- Strengthen and empower the communities to allow them to play a relevant and active role in their sustainable development, by bestowing them the right tools and knowledge that will serve as the foundation of their culture of progress.
- Boost the communities’ abilities to adequately exploit their natural and cultural environments for the purpose of sparking a sustainable economic activity and reinforcing their cultural backgrounds.
PURPOSE
We encourage sustainable social development by implementing programmes and projects to address matters of municipal, natural and environmental concern in order to strengthen the social and economic structure of Honduras in an efficient, effective and competitive fashion.
VISION
We strive to become a leading organisation with local and regional influence with expertise in the development and implementation of projects that aim to improve the life quality of people whilst playing a significant role in the protection of the environment and natural resources.
